Therapy Air^® Plus operation
The three-stage cleaning process

The Zepter air purifier is equipped with “Therapy Air^® Technology” (TAT^®), which enables the elimination of certain pollutants from dirty indoor air in three stages.

1.
During the first stage, the built-in HEPA FILTER UNIT (high-efficiency particulate air) breaks down airborne pollutants.

2.
The device is also equipped with an ACTIVE OXYGEN MODULE-controlled ozone production system. This means that, during the next stage, it does not mask smells but oxidizes their compounds and neutralizes them. Oxygen-activating modules produce ozone. Ozone is an oxidant that destroys a wide range of viruses, bacteria and other toxins. It also oxidizes phenol, pesticides, chemical manufacturing residues and aromatic (malodorous) compounds such as tobacco smoke.

3.
Any remaining pollutants are then caught by the CATALYST. An efficient third-stage process thus safely destroys fungi and bacteria. The purified air is stripped of ozone.

4.
The use of Therapy Air^® Plus AROMATHERAPY is optional. The various types of aromatherapy gels* are easy to use.

* Gels are not recommended for people who suffer from allergies.

Packaged in individual containers that are easily inserted into the front of the unit, these various aromas lend a pleasant atmosphere.

The following SWISSO LOGICAL essences, produced exclusively for Zepter International by the Swiss company Intercosmetica, are currently available:
RELAX: The calming extracts of jasmine, melon, violet and rosewood create a sensation of inner peace and relaxation.
ENERGY: Revitalizing elements such as green tea, grapefruit, lemon and sandalwood stimulate concentration in places such as offices or schools and bolster your energy during physical exertion.
HAPPINESS: Activates and vitalizes with fragrances of bergamot, lily, sandalwood, cedar, cardamom and musk.

The properties of Therapy Air^® Plus are both biological, through the ozonization of the air, and chemical, through killing off bacteria and pollutants.

Filter Technology
The Therapy Air^® Plus has a so-called HEPA FILTER UNIT, which achieves a 99% air purification rate. HEPA filters are high-efficiency particulate arrestors that represent an efficient, effective air purification technology. These high-density filters were originally developed for space travel but are now used wherever there is a need for total air purity. Air purification technologies based on HEPA filter systems are therefore deployed in operating rooms as well as medical, technical and chemical laboratories.
